THE 50TH — AN EXCLUSIVE MASQUERADE BALL

In 2026, Reading will host a truly special evening.

The 50th marks the 50th birthday of Mark King and celebrates everyone born in 1976 — friends, family, schoolmates, and familiar faces from across Reading who are all reaching this milestone together. Turning 50 is a meaningful moment for reflection, gratitude, and celebration, and this event brings everyone together to mark it properly.

The evening also serves as an RG1 Reunion Event, continuing a tradition that began over a decade ago in honour of Reading’s legendary RG1 nightclub. Every ten years, those unforgettable nights, friendships, and memories are brought back together for one exceptional reunion.

This event is proudly in association with Prostate Cancer UK, a charity very close to Mark’s heart. All proceeds from the night will be donated to the charity. A JustGiving page has been set up, with a QR code and donation link shared ahead of the event.
