# Event Details - **Event Name**: Teen Art Space with Brenda Goodchild - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 17 May, 2025 at 01:00 pm – Sat, 17 May, 2025 at 02:30 pm - **Event Description**: Artist led workshop aimed at 11 to 17 years. We will make art inspired by different artists, themes and techniques. Join us for our Teen Art Space workshops led by professional artists. These sessions are aimed at ages 11 to 17 years (school year 7 to year 12). These are experimental sessions that focus on techniques, creative thinking and artistic processes. This ticket is for one sessions. Saturday 17 May - 1pm to 2.30pm Theme: Biscuit Town Join us for an exciting exploration of biscuit-themed art inspired by Reading's rich history with Huntley and Palmers. Teens will engage with a variety of art materials to observe biscuits up close, and they will create unique biscuit fonts or design their own imaginative biscuits. Felt will be the primary material used, along with pencil drawing techniques. Don't miss out on this creative opportunity! This session will be hosted by Brenda Goodchild. Brenda is an artist and teacher who creates digital illustrations and campaign art. She studied at Camberwell College of Arts and trained as a primary school teacher. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Art Psychotherapy. For more of her work, follow her on Instagram at @missgoodchild. This session will also be assited by artist George Ryan. A parent/carer does not need to stay with your child but you will need to provide a contact number in case of emergencies. All materials will be provided. Please bring your own aprons. To allow our workshops to be accessible to all we are able to offer our workshops for a nominal fee and we have a limited number of free places for each session.
