Our next monthly support meeting at RISC is on Monday 10th November 2025 at 7.30pm.
Ritesh Nigam is an award-winning author and mental health advocate whose personal journey through mental health struggles has deeply shaped his work. He spent 15 years writing one shloka a day from the Bhagavad Gita in his diary, resulting in a unique journal-style presentation of the wisdom of the sacred text. The English edition of this book, SwaGita, was recently launched at Keble College, Oxford.
Ritesh is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and sharing how healing and resilience are possible through creative expression and inspired living. He will talk about his mental health journey and share ideas for simple writing practices in daily life.
There will be time for questions and discussion with free refreshments.
Please book a free ticket to attend. As always, our meetings are completely free of charge and everyone is welcome. We aim to provide a safe and confidential environment where everyone is listened to and treated with respect.
