My Very Popular Huntley & Palmers (H&P) 200th Anniversary jaunt, tells a Biscuit Themed story from Roman times to the Present, features the H&P people, their massive influence & service to Reading, Biscuits, Factory, Buildings, Generosity, Legacy  & so much more – with a place at the end for Biscuits & Cuppa. NB End point is 1 mile from start point.

Good news - We finish at the MERL (Museum of English Life) for Tea/Coffee & Biscuit or other refreshments at the end. If this is not available, we will go to the UoR dairy, next door

1st a main charity – Dingley's Promise (DP) - They strive to provide the best start for every child.
We support children in the early years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
This Year I'm for the 1st year ever, I will be doing a few Special DP Walkabouts based on there history etc. They were formed in Reading at Battle Hospital, became a charity and are starting to spread around the country, starting in the South with 12 Centre & their HQ is in Newbury. 2nd main charity – Green Health - They are a mental health charity that work with adults in a number of ways. Members may start with one-to-one teaching, and if comfortable, may then graduate to small groups, usually containing a maximum of 4 people. Our Therapeutic Horticulture Lead teaches horticulture skills at a pace that suits the individual. I have known Charlotte for several years and we have made all sorts of donations to them, from gardening equipment to a wishing well when we downsized.
