Berks Nature's Homeschool Programs are specially designed to provide your students with a hands-on learning experiences to better understand our natural world and the science of our ecosystems. Engage your child's curiosity through experimentation and inquisition, all while under the thoughtful guidance of our skilled environmental educators.

Art and science collide during our October poetry-focused Homeschool Class! Or should we say, poet-TREE? Students will start by seeking inspiration outside, observing the shape, textures, and seasonal changes of trees. These observations will then be transformed into short nature poems, sketches, and leaf rubbings, which each student will have time to share. This lesson comes from Project Learning Tree and is designed to encourage creativity, awareness, and a calm appreciation of the natural world. 

This class is best for students ages 6-13.
