- **Event Name**: Lucy Crawford Ashtanga Weekend: From Inside to Out
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 27 Jun, 2026 at 10:30 am
- **Event Description**: This weekend with Lucy Crawford is an invitation to practise from the inside out - starting with breath, sensing, and the internal support that makes the shape make sense (instead of wrestling ourselves into it).

Our focus for the weekend will be:
* Quietitude of the breath
* The simplicity of Tristana - Breath, Bandha, Drishti
* The positioning of the neck and head (without forcing it)
And not in a “just tuck your chin” kind of way. More in a let’s actually feel what’s happening way.

Lucy has been exploring subtle work with the inner tissues of the throat - sensing and organising from the inside so the neck positions correctly from the inside out. (If you’ve ever left a vinyasa feeling a bit crunchy in the neck… yep. This will land.)

From there, we expand the same principle through the whole body:
* moving awareness from organs to flesh and skin
* letting the deeper layers lead, and the outer layers respond

Over the two afternoons Lucy will guide us through an explorative, experiential practice that includes:

*Breath as a starting point - finding quiet, steadiness, and internal space
* Tristana made simple - Breath, Bandha, Drishti as an integrated practice (not separate “things to do”)
* Neck + head positioning - sensing the throat/inner tissues so alignment isn’t just a внешняя shape
* Inside-out movement pathways - letting the organs and deeper tissues initiate movement, and letting flesh/skin follow

Expect it to be creative, curious, and surprisingly down-to-earth.
