Homeschool: Soil Secrets (Ages 7+)
Let Berks Nature's educators teach your children about nature and natural science! Our Homeschool Programs are specially designed to provide your students with a hands-on learning experience to better understand our natural world and the science underlying our ecosystems. Engage your child's curiosity through experimentation and inquisition, all while under the thoughtful guidance of our skilled environmental educators. Best for children aged 7+.
Dig into the dirty details of what makes soil so special! In this hands-on, lab-style adventure, students squish, sift, and splash our way through the three main types of soil—learning how they drain, how they feel, and how scientists figure out what’s what. We’ll test samples, run experiments, and maybe even head out on a mini hike to collect our own soil (if the weather plays nice!). Get ready to roll up your sleeves and discover the hidden world beneath your feet!
