We're fighting to get ICE out of Berks entirely -- no warehouse prison camps, and no voluntary collaboration with ICE. Did you know the county has been quietly moving immigrants from our jail into ICE custody for decades? 75 people disappeared in just the past year.

We want Berks to be a safe, welcoming community, not a pipeline to ICE. We're showing up to stand for dignity, justice, and the rule of law for everyone, not just those blessed with American citizenship.

This event, starting at the Reading Public Library and moving into the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Reading, is part of a nationwide day of action to oppose the Trump administration's expansion of ICE warehouse detention and its attack on the due process rights of immigrants and all Americans.

Come to learn what's going on in Berks right now -- and what might happen if the warehouse goes through. We'll have special guest speakers, lots of information, and clear guidance on what we can do together to build a Berks County that works for all of us.

This action is part of the Communities Not Cages National Day of Action organized by the Disappeared In America campaign and partners including Detention Watch Network, Public Citizen, The Workers Circle, MoveOn and many others.
