Breakfast with an Artist, Sarah Graham - in conversation with Sami Chokri
In 2001, Sarah Graham joined Jelly straight out of finishing her Fine Art degree at De Montfort University, becoming a member of the Jelly team whilst creating vibrant and whimsical oil paintings of sweet things, toys and childhood imagery.
Sarah says 'My work is a vivid exploration of still life, using subjects that allow me to satisfy my obsession with colour; and within them somehow communicate that elusive sense of sheer joy. The process is very visceral; I paint subjects that evoke memories of childhood, as I want to create feelings of nostalgia. But more importantly wonder’.
Join us for this launch event as Sami Chokri will discuss with Sarah how playfulness has impacted both their lives.
Sami Chokri is a platinum-record writer and award winning poet, musician and founder of Evoke Creative Wellness, born from a passion for creative writing and its mental health benefits . Get a chance to hear Sarah's creative process and inspirations as she chats with Sami Chokri. It's a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the artist behind the captivating artworks.
