- **Event Description**: Summer School is back! Join Helen for three deep-dive sessions into bellydance movement and technique with her popular Belly-Lates format. (No previous experience of Pilates necessary!) They are stand alone classes although I will use sections from the same piece of music for each session.

Summer School is aimed at all levels of bellydancer and is a great opportunity to go deeper into they stylization and technique of the dance.

- Would you like to feel stronger and more coordinated in your bellydancing?

Then Summer School is the ideal series of classes for you! Helen will be using sections of her choreography to Mahassin Essodaff (by Hossam Ramzy) to use a studies for improving the quality of your dance. Helen worked personally with the late Hossam Ramzy, the composer of the piece, to create a deeply interpretive choreography. The sessions are designed to help you connect your technique alongside developing your musicality.

This class will be in a Belly-Lates format which means you can expect three foundational components to each class:

- Gentle core strength, flexibility and mobility on the mat, specifically designed for bellydancers
- A masterclass and deep-dive into bellydance technique using a combination to classical Egyptian music
- Stretching, relaxation and mindfulness to allow all the work to sink in and the mind to settle
