A Venetian Christmas

Our annual Christmas concert features two major works by the brilliant Antonio Vivaldi. Alongside his famous "Gloria in D Major" (RV589), we will perform his lesser-known "Magnificat (RV 610). Both works are accompanied by members of Berks Sinfonietta.

We also sing two settings of "O Magnum Mysterium," by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Alessandro Scarlatti. 2025 is a significant anniversary year for both: the 500th anniversary of Palestrina's birth and the 300th anniversary of Scarlatti's death. We believe this will be the first performances in Reading of the "Magnificat" and Scarlatti's motet!

Tickets are $15/Adult and $5/Student. As always, Vox Philia will donate 100% of ticket revenue to Code Blue Efforts of New Journey Community Outreach, so your attendance becomes a concrete way of helping those in need.
