- **Event Description**: Join us for an inspiring conversation on creativity and motherhood, as our Creative Director Gaynor Seville sits down with local hero Jane Horrocks, artist and painter Elizabeth McLoughlin, and Alice Robinson from Mothers Who Make. Together, they’ll explore the experiences of motherhood and birth, the role of creativity in their lives, and the unique joys and challenges of being a mother working in the creative sector.

The panel will be followed by the northern premiere of Yolk and Aliens, a film by Jane Horrocks in collaboration with Francesca Levi (video artist) and Molly Vivian (musician). In the film, Horrocks has created a world of memory, utilising home video footage of her daughter’s birth and infancy, juxtaposed with footage of her mother’s decline into Alzheimer’s. The jumble of memory of both stories are surprisingly similar in their non linear presentation. This exploration is coloured with collage effect depiction and archive footage.
