Join Our Winter Solstice Celebration: A Fundraiser for Healing and Community

We invite you to participate in our Winter Solstice gathering, where you can reconnect with nature and holistic wisdom while supporting the mission of Tree of Life Farm.

Day's Activities: Access to all daytime workshops and educational sessions led by valued community experts is available through a sliding scale donation of $20 to $50. This contribution helps us cover event costs and move our mission forward.

Evening Celebration: The central Evening Solstice Celebration is offered on a flexible donation basis, allowing everyone to join this powerful moment of community and light.

This celebration is a vital fundraiser, supporting our efforts to provide a cherished space where individuals can reconnect with the earth, rejuvenate their spirit, and deepen their sense of community. If you feel inspired, please contribute to help us continue returning people to the healing power of nature and community. 

Tree of Life Farm invites you to celebrate the longest night of the year with a full-day immersive experience of restoration, reflection, and rebirth during our Winter Solstice Celebration!

Set amidst the tranquil beauty of Tree of Life Farm, this sacred gathering honors the turning of the seasons, guiding participants from darkness into light through movement, meditation, rhythm, and sound. Each experience is designed to restore harmony between body, mind, and spirit, offering space to slow down, breathe deeply, and rekindle your inner flame.

Please Note:

* Participants are encouraged to bring enough food and drinks for themselves for the duration of their stay.

* Tree of Life Farm will provide light snacks, tea, and water throughout the day.

* There will be a community potluck during the dinner hour — 
those wishing to contribute may bring a prepared dish, which can be stored in the fridge and warmed in the oven later in the evening.

* In support of sustainability, guests are asked to use our dual composting toilet system during their visit.

* Camping is available for those who would like to make it an overnight experience.

Together, we honor the Earth by treading lightly and celebrating in harmony with the land and returning to our roots at the Tree of Life Farm.

Morning – Arrival, Grounding & Awakening

9:30 AM — Gates Open & Arrival
Welcome to Tree of Life Farm, a sanctuary of stillness and renewal. Arrive gently, sip warm tea, breathe the crisp winter air, and settle into the peaceful landscape. Check in, find your place, and attune your energy to the day’s sacred rhythm.

9:45 AM — Orientation & Intention Circle
Gather in community to meet your facilitators, learn about the day’s flow, and share collective intentions for transformation and renewal. Together, we create a field of presence, gratitude, and shared purpose.

10:00 AM — Yoga: Root & Rise (Vinyasa Flow • 1 hr)
Led by Liz Jones — Founder of Jones Wellness Ranch
Begin your Solstice experience with a grounding and revitalizing vinyasa flow led by Liz Jones, whose holistic teaching blends strength, mindfulness, and breath. Liz is an ERYT-200, RYT-500, and CEU PROVIDER, has been a yoga teacher about 20 years, and teaches various types of yoga from Restorative to hot vinyasa flow. Liz is trained in trauma informed yoga practices, modalities of yoga, is an ace certified personal trainer, and nutritionist. The class Liz will be teaching will be a slow flow, great for all levels of experience.

11:00 AM — Meditation: Illumination Within (1 hr)
Guided by Danny Hotstetter — Musician & Transcendental Meditation Practitioner

Following yoga, we turn inward. Danny Hotstetter, a musician and transcendental meditation practitioner, achieved a level of enlightenment in 2009 after being clinically dead for over 4 minutes. Following his transformative experience, he pursued spiritual guidance and studied Transcendental Meditation (TM) at The Maharishi University. He further developed his expertise in kundalini and breathing techniques. This course will integrate elements of TM, kundalini, and other methods developed by Daniel to cater to diverse individuals.  Join this hour-long session to cultivate mindfulness and advance your spiritual growth.  


12:00 PM — Light Lunch & Reflection (30 min)
Enjoy a tranquil break and bring a packed lunch with you to enjoy or share with others. Take time to connect with others as you integrate the morning’s practices.

Afternoon – Flow, Renewal & Connection

12:30 PM — Qi Gong: Flow of Renewal (1 hr)
Taught by Tom Mair — Movement & Energy Arts Instructor
A graceful, meditative practice harmonizing movement and breath. Through flowing sequences and gentle focus, Tom guides participants to release tension, restore balance, and awaken the natural rhythm of vitality.

1:30 PM — Sauna, Cold Plunge & Self-Care Ritual Workshop (2 hrs)
Immerse in elemental renewal. Move between the infrared sauna and refreshing cold plunge to awaken circulation and cleanse body and mind. 

3:30 PM — Breathwork: Awakening the Inner Sun (1 hr)
Led by Jacque Riney — Breathwork Facilitator
A transformative guided breathwork session focused on releasing stagnant energy and rekindling inner radiance. Through conscious rhythmic breathing and deep presence, Jacque invites participants to clear emotional residue, open the heart, and realign with the warmth of the returning sun.

Evening – Food, Sound & Celebration

4:30 PM — Potluck Dinner & Transition (1 hr)
Gather around the fire for a nourishing communal meal. Those wishing to contribute are invited to bring a prepared dish to share; we’ll have space in the fridge and oven to keep things ready for dinner. Enjoy fellowship, music, and storytelling as evening settles over the farm.

5:30 PM — Learn to Drum Workshop & Community Drum Circle (2 hrs)

Discover rhythm as a language of connection and celebration. The first hour introduces foundational drumming techniques and patterns; the second blossoms into a communal drum circle — a vibrant heartbeat of shared rhythm and expression as the sun dips toward the horizon.

7:30 PM — Sound Bath: Vibrational Resonance (30 minutes) Performed by Sebastian Tabibi — Vibrational Harmony
Relax and surrender to the healing resonance of the handpan, tongue drum, and didgeridoo performed by Sebastian Tabibi. This meditative sound immersion invites deep relaxation, harmonizing your body’s rhythms and awakening subtle layers of awareness.

8:00–10:30 PM — Bonfire + Cacao Ceremony + DJ Set &  Projected Visuals (2 hrs)

This is the core evening immersion: gather around the Solstice bonfire while participating in a heart-opening Cacao Ceremony. At the same time, Bryce Allen, with YouTube channel Voxex,  performs an ambient electronic DJ set with projected visual arts on the a screen/projector, turning the landscape into a moving canvas of color and light. Expect firelight, cacao offerings, communal chanting/singing (as appropriate), soft projection-mapped visuals, and an enveloping ambient soundtrack — a multi-sensory rite of communal renewal.

Note: Bonfire + Cacao + DJ/visuals are intentionally concurrent and complementary — you may move between the fire circle, the viewing area, and quieter pockets across the field as you like.

10:30 PM — Closing Ceremony & Farewell (30 min)
Gather once more in gratitude and reflection as we close the circle, offering prayers and intentions for the season ahead. Together, we extinguish the ceremonial flame and welcome the dawn of new beginnings.

11:00 PM+ — Optional Camping: Starlight Slumber
Stay beneath the stars and rest in the gentle stillness of the Solstice night. Quiet fires, soft voices, and deep peace invite integration before the journey home.
