Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary invites the community to gather for a Candlelight Vigil on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Angel’s Crossing, the sanctuary’s on-site memorial space. This public event offers a quiet, reflective opportunity to honor the Hallie Hill residents who passed in 2025, as well as all animals who have left lasting paw prints on the hearts of those who loved them.
Set against the peaceful backdrop of the sanctuary, the Candlelight Vigil will bring together staff, volunteers, supporters, and community members for an evening centered on remembrance, gratitude, and shared compassion. Attendees will be invited to light candles and hold space for the bonds that continue long after a beloved animal is gone.
“This vigil gives us a moment to pause and remember the animals who shared their lives with us,” said Mike Gibbons, Director of Development at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary. “Each one was deeply loved, and their presence continues to shape our hearts. We are grateful to come together as a community to honor them and the love they gave so freely.”
The event will take place at Angel’s Crossing at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, 5604 New Road, Hollywood, South Carolina. All are welcome to attend, whether they have a personal connection to Hallie Hill or simply wish to honor animals they have loved and lost throughout their lives.
