- **Event Description**: Thats right folks. It’s TWINE time! A soul captivating 5 piece band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Best described as Americana JamFunk with a tinge of twang. The group is comprised of Will Effertz on electric guitar/vocals, Jon Miller-acoustic guitar/vocals, Brian (Snowman) Powers-saxophone, Scott Yonke-bass and John Hanson-drums. TWINE is known for their ability to listen to each other intently, as well as their genuine passion for "reading the room" which allows the energy of the crowd to persuade the bands direction during improvisational moments. TWINE infuses a blend of funk, folk, rock, blues, americana, and world inspired rhythms all combined into what is called the "Jam". The live performance consists of original music that paints soundwaves with imaginative lyrics, dynamic rhythms and symphonic melodies as well as covers that span generations!  We are so excited to have them at Murphy's! Make plans to be there.
