Ice Fishing Electronics: A Discussion

Between the different flasher and forward facing sonar brands on the market, deciding what to get or how you plan to use your current unit can vary as much as the different features that each one has. In this seminar, “Dr. Auger” Scott Olson and experienced ice fisherman Jay Elmquist Magyar, who has been using forward facing sonar for several years, will cover different ways to dial in our electronics for different conditions, species, and techniques on the ice. This will be more of a discussion on ways to use both traditional flashers and forward facing systems to your advantage as well as answer questions on using both. Forward facing sonar is big topic these days so bring your questions to this seminar, taking place on December 19th at 6pm at the Outdoor Campus West! While the discussion is geared towards more experienced ice anglers, anyone interested in ice fishing technology is welcome to attend!
