Rapid City - The time has arrived!
Meadow Ridge Pet Lodge is proud to announce the official groundbreaking ceremony for its new upscale pet care facility, taking place on Monday, July 28 at 4:00 PM with Elevate Rapid City!
This event marks the beginning of construction on what will become the area’s premier destination for pet boarding, grooming, training, daycare services, and an indoor and outdoor pet friendly social area for pet lovers and their furry companions! The social area will feature an 18 tap beer and wine Pour My Beer system and separate child play area on site as well as an indoor and outdoor dog splash park!
Local leaders, project partners, and pet-loving community members are welcome!
Located at 2512 Marlin Drive, Rapid City, SD, the new Meadow Ridge Pet Lodge will feature over 11,000 square feet of UVC protected climate-controlled indoor space!
“This privately owned facility represents our deep commitment to providing the highest level of care for pets and peace of mind for their owners,” said Ashley Peterson, one of the four local owners of Meadow Ridge Pet Lodge. “We are excited to create a place where pets can play, relax, and thrive—whether for a day or an extended stay.”

Construction is expected to be completed in late 2025 or early 2026.
