Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis? We’re at risk of losing bone mass beginning at age 30 and you should know how to prevent this! You’ll learn what osteoporosis and osteopenia are, risk factors, fracture prevention, nutrition, lifestyle changes and what to do if you or a family member have been diagnosed. This will be an interactive class with a Doctor of Physical Therapy teaching you safe evidence-based exercises for both prevention and supportive treatment. You’ll receive a handout with the information and exercises presented.
