During Ted Neeley’s Farewell Tour, he will be returning to his hometown for a reason that is close to his heart to help save lives.
Ted has chosen to use this special homecoming to help raise critical funds for the Ranger Animal Shelter, which is in urgent need of donations.
To support this mission, Ted has generously offered to host an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime gathering at the local Fire Department. This is a rare opportunity to meet Ted Neeley in an intimate, personal setting not from a stage, but face to face.
Guests will have the chance to hear Ted share stories from his incredible life journey, ask questions, take photos, and enjoy genuine one-on-one interaction. This isn’t a rushed meet-and-greet it’s a meaningful experience where conversations happen, memories are made, and connections are real.
Most importantly, by being part of this gathering, you’re joining Ted in something that matters deeply to him. This event is personal. It’s heartfelt. And it’s about giving back to the place and the cause he cares about.

Unlike surrounding communities, Ranger operates with very limited funding for animal control and sheltering. But with the resources available and a whole lot of heart Officer Pilant and the City of Ranger are transforming the program for the better.
Thanks to this compassionate, animal-first approach, the shelter has achieved an incredible 98.6% live release rate, Officer Pilant and the City of Ranger remains committed to one unwavering goal: to find every animal a safe, loving home.
“With the freedom the City has entrusted to me to completely rebuild this program, I have been able to achieve something I am deeply proud of: every single animal that has come into our care has been successfully rehomed. I will not euthanize for space or for time. Every life matters here, but compassion comes at a cost.
While we have been incredibly blessed by the generosity of our community, there are times when donations simply aren’t enough. The Ranger Animal Shelter relies almost entirely on community support just to meet basic needs to feed these animals, provide medical care, and give them a real chance at a future.
The City of Ranger and I are fully committed to changing the direction of animal control and sheltering for the better. Every decision we make is led by compassion, dignity, and the belief that animals are not disposable.
Your donation is not just a contribution it is food in a bowl, medical care when it’s needed, warmth, safety, and a second chance at life.
With your support, we can continue saving lives, and prove that even small communities can do extraordinary things when they lead with heart.” Says Officer Carrie Pilant.
Join us as we celebrate the life journey of Ted Neeley during this heartfelt stop on his Farewell Tour and take part in something truly impactful.
