Please join us as we gather to celebrate the incredible life of Severina Marian Greenaway. All are welcome, so please feel free to share this invitation with anyone who knew and loved her.

We’ll be meeting at The Pigeon House at Pirates Club on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00 PM to laugh, sing, dance, eat, share plenty of great memories and reflect on the life of Sev.

In true Sev fashion, a simple memorial simply will not do. We knew Sev as someone who loved birthdays. She found the greatest joy in curating and giving extremely well thought out and personalised gifts. She was known for hosting the most weird and wonderful gatherings full of magical vibes that were designed to captivate, entertain and transport the attendees to various mystical realms of whimsy. This year was to be no different, for her birthday, October 14th, she had planned to deliver a themed dress up extravaganza for her next big celebration. So, as our gift to her, and in honour of her crazy, outrageous spirit, we’re going to throw the party she envisioned

So without further ado, our theme is... Retro Futuristic!
An aesthetic that imagines the future through the lens of the past. Think vintage space age, sci-fi glam, chrome and neon, jetpacks and shoulder pads. If you're feeling it, come dressed in your best futuristic-from-the-distant-past attire, and if not, your usual beautiful self is just as perfect.

Pirate's club, in a gracious act of community service, has kindly offered their space free of charge and will provide us with a fully stocked bar. To thank them we ask that, if you are able, to support them by purchasing some refreshments and respecting their space.

There will be food and drink provided, and we will have a braai going if you wish to bring your own meats and treats.

How to find it: Pirates Club into GPS, once you enter the boom gates, drive straight on to the back of the parking lot and you'll find the building on the left.
