- **Event Description**: Please join with us each Sunday as we worship our Savior, Jesus Christ, by gathering together to learn of Him, partake of the sacrament (similar to communion), sing hymns, listen to sermons (or “talks”) and pray. A main focus of the service is when we take the sacrament. This is a time when we show reverence for our Lord. The sacrament includes a special prayer to bless the bread—representing Christ’s body—which is then offered to the congregation, passed around on trays. Then there isa special prayer for the water—representing Christ’s blood—which is againoffered to the congregation. This is the most reverent part of all our meetings, during whichthe congregation quietly sits and ponders the Savior’s sacrifice. All are welcome! As a visitor, you do not have to participate. When the bread and water come to you, you can pass it along to the next person. We also don’t solicit donations or pass around a plate. We just hope you will sit back and enjoy the service. You’re welcome to wear any clothes that you feel comfortable in attending a church service. Men typically wear suits and ties, and women wear dresses or skirts. Children also usually dress nicely.
