- **Event Description**: This show will feature dozens of award winning and blooming orchids on exhibit, both species and hybrids from various genera grown to perfection by society members who compete for ribbons, trophies, and awards. Local California commercial growers, international nurseries, and vendors will be offering a wide range and very unique selection of species and hybrid orchids of various genera, companion plants, succulents, bromeliads, carnivorous plants, hoyas, ferns, exotic and rare plants, foliage plants, ceramic pots, growing supplies/media, and lots more for sale. Many of the orchids can be grown outdoors in the Southern California area.
The show and sale are both included with your paid entrance admission fee of $5/person payable at the entrance directly to the South Bay Orchid Society. Children under age 12 are free when accompanied by a paid adult. There are no pre-entry online sales or reservation tickets available. Entry fee must be paid to be admitted to the event. We accept cash, checks, Zelle, and major credit cards only.
A raffle ticket will be given to each paid attendee upon payment. The hourly raffle will be held hourly throughout the show (your raffle ticket is only good for current hour and you must be present to claim the prize when the winning ticket is drawn). South Bay Orchid Society members are NOT eligible to participate in the drawing.

Our venue is hosted at the Palos Verdes Art Center, which is the co-sponsor of the show. They will have their gallery and gift shop open during the show/sale hours. We encourage attendees to tour the various paintings, ceramics, photography, sculptures, and other works of art and exhibits on display and for sale.
A plant hotel will be available to house your purchases while you enjoy the exhibited flowers and the show, and while you shop for quality orchids at great prices.
NOTE: Show attendees who have pre-ordered plants from vendors must make their own arrangements directly with the vendor(s) to pick up their plants at the show. Attendees must pay the admittance fee to SBOS to gain entry to the sales area.

The South Bay Orchid Society and the Palos Verdes Art Center will not be responsible for the condition, quality, authenticity, or longevity of any plant sold at any of our meetings, shows, or events. Neither organization will be held liable or obligated to facilitate, hold, expedite, refund, or reserve any sales transactions between show attendees (buyers) and vendors (sellers).
