Take this journey with us to a forest near Ranaghat and close to India Bangladesh international border for a day trip. Welcome to Debalgarh an unknown archaeological site, where you can explore the remains of the Garh (Fort) in the jungle. Visit a private museum to be surprised at the collection, all found from the areas around, dating back to Pala period. Visit Aismali and Palpara for the old historical and terracota temples. This trip will also take you to Jasra for a unique Jagannath temple where only Lord Jagannath resides for the last 500 years.
TRANSPORTATION:
AC Vehicle from Kolkata to Ranaghat and Chakdaha and back.
TOUR ITINERARY:
Our vehicle will start from Kavi Subhas Metro at 7am and take the EM Bypass to VIP Road to Jessore road. All who are booking on this tour kindly make it convenient to get picked up at your convenient position on the route. Please do not request for any deviations as this will entail additional cost.
Breakfast on the way from road side eatery. Lunch at a famous Restaurant in Ranaghat which has been conceived based on Bibhuti Bhusan Bandyopadhyay's novel, "Adarsha Hindu Hotel". Sweets from the age old Jogu Moira.

1. THE DEBALGARH FOREST HAS BEEN DECLARED TO BE A RESERVE FOREST WITH EFFECT FROM 2025, AS SUCH ENTRY INSIDE THE FOREST WILL BE SUBJECT TO PERMISSION GIVEN ON SPOT. IF PERMISSION IS NOT GIVEN THEN WE CANNOT ENTER THE FOREST
2. PLEASE WEAR COMFORTABLE DRESS
3. PLEASE WEAR FLAT SHOES FOR JUNGLE WALKING
4. PLEASE CARRY YOUR ID (AS THIS IS THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER AREA)
5. KEEP YOUR VOICES MINIMUM INSIDE THE FOREST
6. NO LITTERING ALLOWED INSIDE THE FOREST. (PLEASE CARRY YOUR DISPOSABLE BAGS IF NEEDED)
