🎸 The Chords UK – Live! 🎸
Helmed by founding member and songwriter Chris Pope, The Chords UK were formed in 2013 to carry forward the fire and spirit of their original 1980s heyday. Expect classic Chords anthems including Top 40 hits “Maybe Tomorrow”, “The British Way of Life”, and favourites from the Top 30 album So Far Away.
Featuring Chris Pope, Kenny Cooper, Sandy Michie and Mic Stoner, the band have earned a reputation as an “incendiary rock ’n’ roll outfit” (Louder Than War). Their 2015 release Get Famous EP stormed straight into the Official Top 40 Singles Chart, followed by the debut album Take On Life (2016).
Critically acclaimed albums Nowhere Land (2018) and Big City Dreams (2022) saw the band touring across the USA, Europe and the UK, while the single “All For Nothing At All” hit No.1 on the Legacy Charts.
Spring 2025 brought a UK and European tour celebrating their acclaimed “best of” collection But Then Again — a 44-track double vinyl / triple CD featuring re-imagined, remixed and re-recorded classics, acoustic versions, and seven previously unreleased songs.
Now they’re Out On The Road Again this October & November for the So Far Away 45th Anniversary Tour — including a SOLD OUT 100 Club show in London — performing the entire album back-to-front for the very first time ever, alongside fan favourites and high-energy classics.
