- **Event Description**: We are pleased to be hosting a Healthy Hearts ECG cardiac screening day at Ramsgate FC on Saturday 27 June, from 9am–1pm.

This important event gives players, coaches, volunteers, and match officials the opportunity to take a proactive step in checking their heart health in a safe, supportive environment.

Heart conditions can affect anyone often with few or no warning signs, and sadly we are seeing more cases both on and off the pitch. A simple ECG screening can help identify potential issues early, offering reassurance and supporting safer participation in sport.

Working alongside Ramsgate FC and our medical partner KIMS Hospital, this event reflects our shared commitment to the health, wellbeing, and protection of our football community.

Please note:
- In order for this event to go ahead, the majority of the appointment slots must be filled. If this threshold is not met, the event may need to be cancelled. In this case, you will be notified in advance and offered either an alternative date or a full refund.
- ECG payments MUST be made within 48 hours of your booking.

What to expect:
- Screenings are quick, non‑invasive, and carried out by experienced clinicians from KIMS Hospital.
- Each appointment takes around 5 minutes.
- Written results are provided within two weeks.
- If an abnormality is identified, and with your consent, KIMS Hospital will notify your GP.

Event details:
Time: 9am–1pm - bookings must be made in advance.
Who can attend: Players aged 8+, coaches, volunteers, and match officials.

Cost (age dependent):
- Ages 8–12: £20 + transaction fee.
- Ages 13–15: £30 + transaction fee.
- Ages 16+: £40 + transaction fee.

A valid FAN is required to participate. Kent FA will check FAN records to ensure eligibility for the screening programme.

Once you have booked, you will receive an email with the payment link. The ECG must be paid within 48 hours of the booking otherwise, your appointment will be removed and allocated for another stakeholder.
