Fill the spring skies with color at our fourth annual Kites and Bites, in partnership with the Ramsey Lions!
Fun for all ages, this free family event features kite flying, food trucks, games, and more. Bring your own kite or come decorate one of ours (while supplies last). Then stick around to enjoy delicious bites from local food trucks and all the family-friendly activities happening throughout the park with groups such as the Ramsey Community Foundation, Anoka Hennepin Early Childhood Family Education, Anoka County's Medical Reserve Corps, Ramsey Parks and Recreation, and more!
Registration is encouraged but not required. Registration helps us get an accurate estimate of participants prior to the event and allows us to send you an email notification in case of any event changes.

Lace up for the Dash and Dine 5K in partnership with the Ramsey Community Foundation! Whether you're a runner, a food truck enthusiast, or both, this event is a fantastic way to challenge yourself, connect with the community, and enjoy a great meal! The race will take place on a USATF certified 5K course at Elmcrest Park that winds through scenic trails, open fields, and local neighborhoods, featuring some slight rolling hills. This course is perfect for both seasoned runners and first-timers alike.
All runners will receive a $10 meal voucher for one of the food trucks, those who register by April 13 will receive a race shirt.
Full Day Event Schedule:
8:30 - 9 a.m.: Day of registration
8:30 - 9:15 a.m.: Packet pick-up
9:30 a.m.: Race start
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Yard games
10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Food trucks
10:45 a.m. (approx): 5K Awards Ceremony
11 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Kites and Bites (free kite decorating and other family-friendly activities)
