Whether you are a runner, kite flyer, or just here for the bites and the vibes, this family-friendly day has something for everyone.Whether you're a runner, a food truck enthusiast, or both, this event is a fantastic way to challenge yourself, connect with the community, and enjoy a great meal! The race will take place on a USATF certified 5K course at Elmcrest Park that winds through scenic trails, open fields, and local neighborhoods, featuring some slight rolling hills. This course is perfect for both seasoned runners and first-timers alike.All runners will receive a $10 meal voucher for one of the food trucks, those who register by April 13 will receive a race shirt. Plus, the overall top male and female finishers in addition to the top male and female in each age group will receive an award. Many residents may recognize the Foundation's role in launching the Concerts at The Draw, early community garden efforts, and Heart Safe Ramsey.Looking ahead, the Foundation is expanding its focus to support community art initiatives and is partnering with Parks and Recreation to help launch Ramsey’s new Farmers Market this summer.Funds raised through this 5K help support these efforts and invest directly back into projects that benefit our community. During registration, runners may choose to fundraise on behalf of the Ramsey Community Foundation or make an optional one-time donation.
