Mindful self-care is the deliberate attention we place on activities that enhance our well-being and alleviate stress. We often resort to methods of escapism to deal with our problems (i.e. smoking cigarettes, overeating, watching excessive TV) rather than listening to and addressing the needs of our body and mind. Consistently ignoring our bodies in distress leads to the accumulation of health challenges including high blood pressure, migraines, diabetes and other stress-related diseases.
With professional guidance, you will take care of yourself and let go of what is no longer serving you. We will encourage workshop attendees to support each other on this health journey.
In this 3-session workshop, you will learn how to:
• Nourish your mind and body to improve your overall well-being
• Reduce stress during challenging situations
• Describe how effective habits are formed
• Build awareness of your physical and mental health
• Identify areas of your life that need additional attention
• Use tools and techniques that facilitate self-care and mindfulness
Each participant in the workshop will receive:
• Six self-care gifts (one per session)
• Home-practice worksheets targeting the 6 components of self-care
• Health tracking worksheets to document current and new healthy habits
About the Speaker:
Inas is a passionate educator in several fields. Academically, Inas is a certified IB/AP Teacher, who is also an Advisor for high-school/university students. Inas is specialized in Skill-Refinement, based on her knowledge and experience with cognitive, creative, and socio-emotional development.
She designs personalised coaching courses and workshops, as well as, IELTS and TOEFL Exam preparation.
As co-founder of The Mask Academy, Inas is a renowned theatre director and acting coach.
Her journey into the holistic healing world was marked by her invention: Serenity Healing System @7 Rays.
Inas makes and designs Distant Healing Grids and Healing Foods Program.
Her healings include Light Therapy, Roqya, Bio-Touch, and Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
Inas is a holistic jewellery designer. Her brand, Tourmaline Queen has bracelets in specific crystal combinations for healing purposes. Her collections include Positive Energy and Health.
About Mindful with Seham:
After struggling to take care of my mental health, I started meditating six years ago and loved it so much that I earned my master's degree in Mindfulness from King's College London. Since then, I have sought to teach evidence-based tools that support and enhance our mental well-being based on principles of psychology and neuroscience. During the day, I am a research lab manager studying the neuroscience of memory and healthy aging.
