David Need lives in Durham NC and has taught Asian Religions and Religion and Literature there since 1997. His books include four collections of his own poetry and two of translations of Rilke. He currently edits the annual arts and literature journal MiddleLost and was one-time curator of the Arcade Taberna Reading Series. His poetry has been published in Hambone, Talisman, Lana Turner and Heavy Feathers Review among others.
Susan M. Schultz’s More Lilith Walks was released by BlazeVox in January of 2025. She is author of many books of poetic prose, including Dementia Blog, and She’s Welcome to Her Disease: Dementia Blog,Vol.2, (Singing Horse Press), as well as several volumes of Memory Cards. Her most recent books are I Want to Write an Honest Sentence, from Talisman, Meditations: December. 2019-December. 2020 (Wet Cement), Lilith Walks (BlazeVox),and I and Eucalyptus (Lavender Ink). Forthcoming from Spuyten Duyvil is War Diary, written during the first year of the Russia-Ukraine war. For over 22 years she edited and published Tinfish Press. Having recently retired from the University of Hawai’i, she spends time on walks Lilith and takes photographs on O`ahu and the Big Island. She is a life-long fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Mary Yordy is a Bookmaker and Writer who lives in Durham NC. She designs, prints, and structures printed word and visual work on paper. She self-publishes the annual zine Paper Money, the Paranormal Pamphlet Series, and Women in Espionage Trading Cards. Her work has appeared in Middlelost, and she has exhibited at Artspace in Raleigh, the Frank in Chapel Hill and the Carrack in Durham.
