About the Book: My Southern Voices: From the Mountains to the CoastThe southern voiceisn’t just an accent, it’s an attitude and an experience. For the past twentyyears, Padgett Gerler has written the southern voice, setting each of her eightnovels in small southern towns. Now comes a compilation of all her voices, fromthe coast of Georgia to the mountains of Virginia…and parts in between. Somepoignant, others humorous, all the short stories in My Southern Voices:From the Mountains to the Coast are simply drawling with attitude. 

About the Author: Padgett GerlerPadgettGerler was born on the coast of South Carolina and raised in the AlleghanyHighlands of Virginia, where she lived until leaving home for college. Padgettgraduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in accounting.After achieving her CPA license, she practiced accounting in the private andcorporate sectors. After decades of accounting, Padgett left to pursue a careerin fiction writing. Since her retirement in 2010, Padgett has published sevennovels, one work of historical fiction, and, most recently, her collection ofshort stories, My SouthernVoices: From the Mountains to theCoast.
