Kc Johns with Jake Potter

Kc Johns with Jake Potter Band are playing at Slim’s on February 26th 8-11pm! On her Winter Tour, Kc Johns is both a storyteller and a country music star. Gaining inspiration from life on the road, she plays over 200 shows a year, joining artists such as Luke Bryan, Neil McCoy, and Chris Young.
Jake Potter grew up on the southeastern coast of North Carolina, where salty ocean air and the complexity of growing up in a military town funneled straight into his music. Now in Raleigh, the singer-songwriter blends alternative country and rootsy rock n roll. Whether alone with an acoustic guitar and harmonica or backed by friends with assorted talents and electric instruments, his brand of three-chord storytelling pours heartbreak, hard work, and humor together into a rocks glass. His band features Jake Potter on vocals and guitar, Joel Vance on drums and vocals, Dave Minella on bass, and Clay Conner on guitar, pedal steel, and lap steel.
