Josie is an acclaimed horticulturalist who earned her M.S. in Botany from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. She has developed deep expertise working with plants in both China and the U.S., including as the lead buyer for annuals and perennials at both Cornell Farm and Portland Nursery. At the Lan-Su Chinese Garden, she draws inspiration from China's impressive historic gardens to bring these rich traditions of botany to Portland.
