- **Event Description**: Another new speaker and this time from Herzegovina.  Denis was born there and has been birdwatching there for his whole life although he has lived in Wembley for the last 30 years. Herzegovina is not well known to British Birders and has a vast variety of habitats from the Alps to Karst fields, where migrating birds feed before they migrate. These fields are dotted along the “Adriatic flyway” migration route and play a key role for the birds.
 
The talk will take place on Tuesday 21 October at Parkwood Green Community Centre, Gillingham. ME8 9PN. 7.30pm - 9.45pm. Doors open 7.00pm. Everyone welcome. Entry, pay at door, £4.00 each for members and £4.50 each for non-members. Including tea, coffee or squash during the interval.
