Join us as we kick off the 2025 First Fridays season with Creative Crawl—a citywide celebration of art, creativity, and community. Enjoy hands-on activities, artist demos, local author readings, pop-up exhibits, and more throughout Downtown Racine.
Event Highlights:
Arts Passport (courtesy of Artist Gallery and DRC):
Pick up a passport and collect stamps at participating locations. Completed passports are eligible for prizes and gift cards!
At Racine Art Museum:
-Art-making stations and a live DJ
Window art activity open to all visitors
At Hotel Verdant:
-Artist meet-and-greet throughout the hotel floors
-Racine Symphony playing throughout hotel
-Co-curator Maureen Fritchen will welcome guests
At Hot Shop Glass:
-Live glassblowing demo by a guest artist
-Pop-up art exhibit
-Chalk art decorating the path from Main Street to Hot Shop Glass
At Photographic Design Gallery & Framing (411 Sixth St.):
-Featuring three guest artists with glass and pottery works
-Live cello performance by Nolan Boerner
Racine Urban Sketchers:
-Artists sketching scenes of Creative Crawl live throughout downtown
At Artist Gallery:
-Kite-inspired window art activity
-Artist-made stamp for passport stamping
-Artist demos and a public art kite design project
At Vintage Modern Books:
-Local Authors Night
-Meet authors, hear readings, and explore new books
At Innovative Dynamic Networks:

-Live personalized pencil sketching ($15 each)
