A new live music series is coming to Racine this spring with a simple promise: an intimate setting, a seated audience, and a focus on listening.
The Friday Nights at The Thought Collective will host 40-seat, phones-away listening nights at Racine County Eye’s event space, 1926 Albert St., on Racine’s north side. Each event will feature one artist performing a full set, followed by a short conversation with the musician so attendees can hear the stories behind the songs.
The nights are designed to feel more like an intentional listening experience than a typical bar show. There will be no alcohol, and attendees will be asked to keep phones away during songs and step into the hallway if they need to text or take a call. Recording the performance is not allowed.
Ticket price: $35

Friday, March 27, 2026: Georgia Rae (Folk and Blue Grass)
Georgia Rae is a Burlington-area solo musician who crafts immersive, one-person performances that blur the line between fiddle-driven roots and modern acoustic looping. On stage, she builds each song live with a pedal board and foot-controlled loops, layering bass lines, rhythm parts, and melodic fiddle solos to create a rich, full-band sound from a single performer.
Her sets mix folk, Americana, blues and improvisational elements with expressive storytelling and high-energy playing, inviting listeners into a dynamic and personal musical experience you can feel in the room. She’s known locally for transforming intimate venues into engaging listening spaces where every nuance of her music matters.
