The Racine Theatre Guild will be holding open auditions for "Pippin" on Saturday, February 28 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Sunday, March 1 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
ABOUT THE SHOW
There’s magic to do in one of "Wicked" creator Stephen Schwartz’s first musicals. A troupe of performers present, and sometimes manipulate, the story of Pippin. Son of Charlemagne, the young prince is in search of happiness, adventure, glory, and his purpose. The coming-of-age journey follows him as he goes to war, explores his passions, leads a revolution, and possibly finds love. Underneath all the spectacle and storytelling, Pippin soon discovers what is truly important in life. Winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Revival, the unforgettable lyrics and soaring music, including “Corner of the Sky” and “Love Song,” create a dazzling musical that will leave you spellbound.
