You are invited to join us for this 12 km trekking event - Explore Malta’s Wild Side — Mġarr to Fomm ir-Riħ Adventure Trek!
Join us for a breathtaking countryside trek starting from the heart of Mġarr Square, where our journey begins in this picturesque, traditional Maltese village. From here, we’ll make our way up to Bingemma, enjoying panoramic views, terraced fields, and peaceful rural landscapes along the way.
Our route then connects to a scenic stretch of the Victoria Lines, Malta’s historic defensive wall system perched dramatically along the ridge. This section offers incredible views across the island and plenty of photo opportunities.
We’ll continue on towards il-Kunċizzjoni, a serene area known for its chapel, peaceful paths, and sweeping valley views. The trek then takes us to the highlight of the day — the stunning cliffs of Fomm ir-Riħ, one of Malta’s most beautiful and untouched natural spots. Expect rugged landscapes, crystal-blue waters, and pure tranquillity.
After soaking in the views, we’ll loop back towards Mġarr, completing a rewarding circular route filled with nature, history, and spectacular scenery.
We will leave at 9.00am sharp and return around 12:00pm.
Don't forget your hats, water as well as wear good trekking boots.
