A 10km (-ish!) hike, taking in some amazing scenery, technical terrain and untouched views. As part of this hike, we will be tackling the infamous Blata tal-Melh gap, a 1.5m leap of faith over a creek (*See note below!).


This adventure is perfect for those seeking stunning views and a taste of the great outdoors. 


Highlights of the Hike:

Starting from Baħrija - a small, rural village in the North of Malta, famous for traditional Fenkati (rabbit meals!)

The hike descends down to Miġra l-Ferħa, one of the most isolated areas of Malta.

We continue on a long cliff-edge path with unique views, taking us to Blata tal-Melħ, an area popular with fishermen and adventure-seekers alike.

The adrenaline seekers have the opportunity to tackle an infamous gap over a creek, a 1.5m jump! (*Note: A less extreme alternative route will also be provided!)

We then head back to Bahrija, just in time for a quick beer and possibly a good lunch!


What to Bring:

- Comfortable and grippy hiking shoes

- Water and snacks

- Sun and Weather protection (hat, sunscreen, rain jacket)

- All belongings are to be packed in a backpack - keep your hands free as you will need them!


Level of Difficulty:
- In typical ENDURE Fitness fashion, the hike will pass over some technical terrain, cliff edges, and will also involve some light scrambling.  

- We would classify this hike as an intermediate-advanced hike.

- The routes we are passing over are well-trodden, but do require sure-footedness and a craving for adventure. 

- The hike is best enjoyed by those who already have a basic level of hiking awareness, and who want to experience new areas in our islands!

- €10 per Adult. 
- Kids up to the age of 15 can join for FREE! (Please do take into account the nature of the terrain...)
