Immerse yourself in the art of printmaking from nature with Sean Kent and Mass Audubon. Join us for printmaking workshop celebrating nature and inspired by our backyard and migratory birds. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you'll have the chance to explore various printmaking techniques and create stunning monotype prints inspired by birds. All supplies, including gel printmaking plates, vibrant inks, paper, and custom stencils, are provided. No previous experience is necessary. Join us for a creative, fun-filled session that brings the beauty of the outdoors into your art! Registration required. 

Sean Kent is the Arts and Nature Education Manager for Mass Audubon , where he focuses on connecting people to nature by creating and experiencing art. Sean has over 25 years of experience in ecological research and environmental and art education. Sean is a field biologist, naturalist, and an accomplished photographer, who has conducted research on the monarch butterfly, native plant species, and wild bees in Massachusetts - Boston Harbor Islands, Elizabeth Islands (Naushon, Cutthunk, and Penikese), Belize, New Mexico, and Arizona. Sean has a M.S. in Biology from Northeastern University and a B.A. in Biology from the College of the Holy Cross. He lives in Mansfield with his three daughters and wife. 

This program is funded in part by a grant from the Quincy Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
