Heroes (QCB Spring Concert)

Heroes take many forms. Some leap from comic book pages or soar across movie screens; others live quieter lives, facing adversity with resilience, compassion, and resolve; still others serve collectively, bound by duty and sacrifice.

The Quincy Concert Band presents their spring concert "Heroes"--a concert featuring music that celebrates courage in all its forms.

The program includes music from blockbuster films (Superman March, Captain America March, and The Incredibles), well-known impactful music written for the wind band (Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night, A Movement for Rosa, Hobbits from Lord of the Rings), a tribute to the men and women of the armed forces, in the spirit of the Olympics John Williams' Summon the Heroes, and more!!
