Free and open to all - come get your hands dirty for a great cause!EVENT DESCRIPTIONThis event offers participants the opportunity to learn about the critical role that restoration and wetland mitigation play in supporting biodiversity.The day will begin with registration and light refreshments, followed by an informative session on restoration practices, the importance of mitigation banking, and the ecology and propagation of the targeted plants. Afterward, participants will get hands-on experience preparing native plant plugs that will be used in local restoration efforts.Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to take home seedling trays to grow on their own. Once established, these plants can be returned to be outplanted in restoration sites, allowing you to contribute directly to long-term environmental impactThis event is free to attend, but registration is highly encouraged.
