Chaddock Family and Friends Night at the Park

You’re invited to a special event just for our families and local supporters as we celebrate the release of Chaddock’s newest publication, Chad the Cougar and the Forest of Feelings, on August 6th!

This story follows Chad the Cougar as he helps his friend, Baxter Badger, work through some big, angry emotions. Based on real, evidence-informed practices we’ve used to support children in our care, the book offers a supportive and accessible way for kids to understand and manage their feelings.

This will be a celebration to remember with food, a puppet show from Chaddock staff, live music from Dennis Welch, activities for kids, and a special appearance from Chad the Cougar himself!

Chad the Cougar and the Forest of Feelings will be available for purchase at the event. Plus, we’ll have information about additional resources Chaddock offers to support children and families throughout the year!
