Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

ASIST is an inter-active workshop that enables participants to learn and practice skills related to assisting someone with thoughts of suicide or suicide behaviors. You must complete both days from 9:00am-5:00pm to receive your certification. CEUs are available for a fee of $5 per CEU and there are 12 units available on completion of the training.

Your certified trainers are Gary McFarland and Dana Nowling.

You must be 16yrs or older to attend.

For those who reside or work in Lassen, Modoc, Plumas or Sierra Counties - this training is funded by SAMHSA and is free to participants. However, if you fail to attend or give at least 7 days notice that you will not be attending, there is a $50 administration fee.

If you reside outside of one of the four counties listed above, there is non-refundable fee of $125 that is due at least one week before attending the training.

If for any reason, the class is cancelled by the host, your money will be refunded and there will be no admin fee charged.
