Join us in Wānaka on Sunday 30 August from 10am to 2pm at the Wānaka Community Workshop for a free, wholesome day of repair.

Our amazing volunteer repair heroes are at the very heart of these events. They donate their time and skills to give your well-loved items a bit of tender loving repair, helping keep good things in use and out of the landfill.

Got something broken, torn, or stopped working? Bring it along! No bookings are needed, so you can just drop in on the day.

Our fixers can help with clothing, bikes, small furniture, small electrical items, and general tinkering. It is a relaxed, friendly community day filled with good yarns while things get stitched, tuned, or glued back together.

Love tinkering or fixing things?

If you can fix zips, bikes, clothes, homewares, electricals, or other things, we’d love to have you join our volunteer crew. Even helping out for a couple of hours makes a huge difference to the day.
