May’s also Food Appreciation Month so there’s no better time to join Wastebusters for Every Bite, a fun, four week programme that will help you become more food resourceful and less wasteful with easy tricks and ideas.

You begin with a delicious dinner cooked by a local chef, discover clever kitchen tips and tricks that you never knew you needed and get fantastic recipes and resources, all designed to help you and your household reduce your food waste and save money in the process. Sounds simple? It is, and it’s also super effective.

We’ve teamed up again with local chef and zero waste legend, Evelyn Vallilee, who’s a whizz when it comes to creative and delicious ways to use up must-eat food items. At our launch event, Evelyn will prepare a delicious dinner for you to enjoy as we kick off the programme. You’ll hear more about what’s in store, learn practical tips to keep on top of your grocery shop with minimal waste, and receive the resources you’ll need at home.

Bring your whānau, bring your friends and bring your flatties, and make every bite count!

Early bird tickets are on sale now and are $15 (until March 31) per person for the four week programme including dinner and drinks at both the launch and wrap events. All proceeds go to the Wānaka Food Bank
