Stamps are themselves, miniature pieces of art that can be re purposed into all sorts of creations, really only limited by ones imagination. I personally use them to make earrings, pendants, brooches, hat pins, and abstract framed art pieces. It can be fun, quick, easy and creative.
The only thing you need to bring is a creative imagination and a pile of stamps if you have them, (but not compulsory). I will provide some inspiration from my existing works, and of coarse, the cardboard, scissors, glue and more stamps. Together we will be creative and you will have something YOU made to take home at the end of the night. You could make a set of earrings for yourself or someone else, a brooch, a pendant, or you could make a 2D or 3D piece of art.
So come along and be creative. I look forward to seeing you there.
About your facilitator:
Hi, my name is Martin Bell. I am 100% pure New Zealand and have lived here in beautiful Queenstown for 26 years now. Although I just qualified for the pension, I am still working as a bus driver for local commuters, but can always find time for my grand-children and my hobbies.
I am an artist. I have painted artworks (mostly in oils and acrylic) all my life and sold my work to many people. I have more recently taken up the hobby of stamp collecting and have found myself combining these interests into crafting which I would like to share with those of you who are interested on 21 October 2025 at Te Atamira.
