Chinese Settlement Walking Tour

Keen to learn more about the Chinese community who settled in Arrowtown over the gold rush era?

Amanda Viana, Education Programme Manager from The Lakes District Museum and Denise Ng, Vice-Chair of the New Zealand Chinese Heritage Research Charitable Trust, will take you on a guided tour of the Arrowtown Chinese Settlement so you can see what their huts would have looked like, and get a real sense of the harshness of their day-to-day lives.
