This ride is open to everyone - *it is not a Central Vermont HOG ride*.  Myron Degenhardt was a motorcycling enthusiast who was also a Central Vermont HOG Chapter member from the beginning of the Chapter. He passed away on March 13, 2025.

Please send an email to lindalamell@hotmail.com if you plan to go. It will help to have a headcount for the restaurant.

Ride to Log Jam Restaurant in the town of Lake George, NY.  
Ride leader: Randy Lamell
Meet at Maplewood in Berlin at 9:00 a.m. KSU at 9:15 a.m.
Go on I-89 to Middlesex Exit 9
Turn left at the end of the off ramp. Then left on Rte 2. Turn right onto 100B (toward Waitsfield)
In Waitsfield, turn right onto VT Rte 17 W (travel through the App Gap)
At ‘T’ in road, take a left onto VT Rte 17W (is also Rte 116S)
First STOP – at Jiffy Mart in New Haven (on the right) just before intersection of Rte 17 and Rte 7. (20 minutes stop)
** Riders can join here if they don't want to ride to Berlin for the start of the ride**
Turn right out of the parking area, then turn left to stay on VT Rte 17W just over the railroad tracks.
Caution -- Stay straight on VT Rte 17W  (cross VT Rte 22A)
Continue on VT Rte 17W which becomes VT Rte 125 just before the bridge in Chimney Point.
Go over Lake Champlain bridge, which becomes NY 185  (Bridge Road)
At intersection, turn left onto NY Rte 9N heading south
Continue on NY Rte 9N through Crown Point
In Ticonderoga, just after the intersection with NY Rte 74, make a 2nd brief stop at Dunkin Donuts (on the right) (10 minutes)
**Riders could join here too, if it is more convenient for people.**
Continue on NY Rte 9N (it veers to the right just after Elizabethtown Community Hospital)
NY Rte 9N is also Lakeshore Dr when you are running alongside Lake George
Go through the township of Lake George, continuing on NY Rte 9N which becomes Rte 9
Go slightly past the intersection with Rte 149 and immediately turn left into the shopping area where The Log Jam Restaurant is located.  (1484 State Route 9)
