                "description": "Our organization has been going strong for over 44 years. \nOn a cold, icy night, in 1972, the Adirondack Bluegrass League (or ABL for short) was formed.  The purpose was to form a family oriented organization that promoted and preserved bluegrass music in upstate New York.\nEach month from October to April, members get together for a meeting and picking session at the Lake Luzerne Town Complex, 539 Lake Avenue, Lake Luzerne, New York. Everyone brings a covered dish for a potluck supper.\n\nEach month from October to May (with the exception of December) the ABL also promotes bluegrass shows that are held at Mollie's Mason Jar, \n13 Park Avenue Ext., Hadley,  NY  12835. \n\nThese events usually occur on the 3rd or 4th Sunday of each month.\n\nA membership application can be found on our website and dues are only $12 per year for an individual or family, and membership runs from November 1st to October 31st..  "
