Join the New York Chapter and a few hundred friends as we return to Pig Beach BBQ in Astoria for this year’s festivities. With our 100th Anniversary in 2026, this year promises to be a Super-Sized celebration with lots of new teams participating, more sponsors, and special guests! With more than 1,000 attendees expected this year,  The Chili Cook-off will see dozens of amateur and professional teams compete for prizes chosen by a select panel of judges – and you the people!With all-you-can-eat chili and queso samples ('til they run out) and a 5-hour open bar featuring your favorite Texas beverages, this event is unmatched for its fun and value. Featuring a DJ and band, as well as games and tailgate party, this is the ultimate Sunday Funday you don't want to miss out on.This event is family friendly as there will be activities for the entire family, as well as for your furry buddies as Pig Beach is a pet friendly for your pups or armadilloTicket Info:General Admission tickets are now on sale until May 17th. All tickets allow entry from 1 to 5 p.m. with all-you-can -at chili and queso and open bar for General Admission. Prices go up every few weeks, so it's best to get your tickets early to save. Pay attention to dates for when prices will increase. Tickets are available for children (under 10) and adolescent (11-20) pricing as well. Please make sure every attendee has a ticket!VIP Tickets:Our always popular VIP area tickets are bound to sell-out again. The VIP Ticket is for those who prefer to luxuriate the day away.Your VIP day begins with an early entry at 12 p.m. to sample and judge the chilis before the general crowd. Your experience begins with delicious breakfast tacos and handcrafted cocktails while you try out the samples in our Bevo Lounge room.Once the crowd gets there and the temperature rises, you will have access to the VIP area with separate seating and a private bar for you and your VIP attendees. Throughout the day our Texas based sponsors will be coming around with samples and cocktails for your enjoyment. A perfect day spent for a great cause.Entering the Competition:Think your family recipe stands the test of time? Does your holiday chili get the best compliments? Well prove yourself by entering our Chili and queso competition. There are multiple awards to compete for including the judges choice, the people’s choice, as well as awards for style and presentation.Teams of 5 will be allowed to enter under the Amateur Chili team ticket. A representative from our Chili Team division will reach out to you to discuss quantities needed and answer all your questions about what it takes to compete.
